It's All About Perspective

Oh hey you!

I hope you're enjoying your new year. It's March now and spring is just around the corner. Idk about you but I'm excited.

In my mind, spring signifies a new beginning. It's an annual opportunity to try again. Wow. There's so much power in that idea if you think about it.

Something I'm eagar to know is how important perspective is to you. (Super important I hope.)

Let me explain...

I about a month ago, I stumbled upon this quote that said..

"There's a difference between being buried and being planted."

Now I'm not sure who exactly said this lil gem, but I honestly believe it's one of the most brilliant 9 words I have ever read in my life.

It's pure genius!

Sometimes what life throws at you sucks. It absolutely and whole-heartedly feels terrible. Not everyone has your best interest and heart and sometimes you just end up in a difficult circumstance.

But what if I told you that the way you view your perdicament can dictate the way you rise out of it? What if I told you that the energy you put out into the world is what's granted back to you?

I know, I know, it's much easier said than done but welcome to real life.

We are not allowed to decide on what perdicaments we are placed in. That's one of those sucky things that are completely beyond our control.

BUT...

What you do have control over is what. comes. next.

Now I know what your thinking. "She's wayyyy too positive!" "How in the heck do I react positively to something that bothers me so much."

Here's the best way I can answer you.

If you spend your life fixated on how down on your luck you are, if "woe is me," is going to be your repsonse to every situation, you've got a rough life ahead my friend.

The idea is'nt to act like life doesnt hurt. The point is to decide that each and everytime life delivers you a tough blow that you won't sit in your mess and learn nothing.

Get up. Get it together. And get going.

Life is happening all around you, constantly. Don't miss out just because the road gets a little bumpy. Change your perception. You got this. I believe in you.

Now believe in yourself.
