You Will Always Be Worth It!!
Hey you,
I've missed you guys so much. I completely redid the blog so I hope you like it.
Anywho, I've kind of had a rough day. Usually when I feel like this and I cant readily call one of my friends or eat a bowl of ice cream,I read posts on tumblr.
Today I stumbled upon one that described each of us as puzzle pieces. Okay so it sounds a little different but let me explain.
You are unique. Nobody on this planet was created like you. Every single thing about you from the way you brush your hair to the type of cereal you like makes you who you are.
Queens, sometimes in life we will be uncomfortable, sometimes we will be in situations that upset us and that make us feel wierd. Sometimes our pieces won't fit certain people, certain situations or certain stages in life. Understand that this is okay.
You don't have to change who you are to fit in, to be deemed worthy, to be valuable or smart. You don't have to hide your passions or even your fears just because not everyone understands. It's not your job to journey through life, convincing the world that you matter.
You wanna know why? Because that crown sitting on top of your head was already bought and paid for when you were born. Your value is priceless and those little things about you that you see as different, may not be so different at all....
Maybe the fact that you love British Literature and listening to old albums are just apart of your sparkle and aspects of your magic.
So do me a favor, when you find yourself in a place where you don't quite fit, when you feel your heart reshaping to resemble someone's definition of "normal" or "worthy," get up and keep moving.
I remember being a kid
and getting so frusturated when I couldn't find the exact place where a puzzle piece was suppose to go. But I'm not a kid
anymore and I understand that in these moments, all I have to do is be patient.
Queen, life is about progession and growth. You're not meant to stay in the same place forever. But believe me when I say, that one day you will stumble across where you're meant to be, and it will all make sense.
Nobody ever said life would be easy, but I can say that no matter the circumstance, it will always be worth it.
You will always be worth it.
